Responsibilities

This position is for the AFNWC ICBM Directorate ISC 2.0 project.
  • Assists in the development, maintenance and execution of software test plans, test scenarios and test cases to be used in the evaluation of software applications
  • Assists in the Testing/evaluation software applications and records actual test results and compares to expected results
  • Documents and performs root cause analysis of relevant defects and issues
  • Designs, builds, and automates test software
  • Performs functional, regression, system, and performance testing
  • Develops and analyzes requirements

Qualifications

Minimum SECRET security clearance.
This position is a Journeyman level with educational and experience requirements as follows:
Journeyman: BS Degree in electrical, computer or software engineering + 6 yrs of engineering experience OR BS degree in any engineering discipline AND MS Degree in electrical, computer or software Engineering + 4 yrs engineering experience OR BS and/or MS in any engineering discipline AND PhD Degree in electrical, computer or software engineering +2 yrs experience.
  • Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
  • Knowledge of or experience in the software development process
  • Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification
  • Journeyman skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier
DESIRED
  • Professional Engineering License desired Systems Engineering Certification desired
  • ICBM experience desired
  • TS clearance desired
  • Contractor shall obtain and maintain certifications as required by current versions of AFMAN 17-1303, DoDi 8570.01-M and other applicable laws and regulations.
